California covered rides

The official state program is California Department of Health Care Services (Medi-Cal). Contact the state or your health plan to confirm eligibility, covered services, required notice, and the correct ride contact for your plan or location.

Plan members should call their health plan’s member services for NMT or NEMT. Fee-for-service members can contact their provider or use DHCS’s secure request process; NEMT requires a licensed provider prescription.
