District of Columbia covered rides
The official state program is DC Medicaid. Contact the state or your health plan to confirm eligibility, covered services, required notice, and the correct ride contact for your plan or location.
DC Medicaid fee-for-service members can call MTM at 1-866-796-0601 for transportation to needed doctor appointments. Managed-care members should use the route for their plan: AmeriHealth Caritas DC 1-800-315-3485, HSCSN/Verida 1-866-991-5433, or MedStar Family Choice DC 1-866-201-9974. For another plan, use the transportation contact on your member card. Ask the applicable broker about the notice period and trip details.
