Kansas covered rides
The official state program is KanCare. Contact the state or your health plan to confirm eligibility, covered services, required notice, and the correct ride contact for your plan or location.
Kansas KanCare members should use the contact for their enrolled plan. Healthy Blue’s member transportation page lists 1-833-270-2254, and Sunflower lists SafeRide Health at 1-877-917-8162; both ask members to request routine rides at least three days ahead. UnitedHealthcare Community Plan members can call Member Services at 1-877-542-9238 for help identifying their current transportation contact. The UHC number is plan assistance; confirm the reservation route and trip requirements for your coverage.
Route details: Check the plan on your current member card before calling. Healthy Blue and Sunflower publish the direct transportation lines above. UnitedHealthcare members can use Member Services to identify the applicable reservation route.
