The official state program is North Carolina Medicaid. Contact the state or your health plan to confirm eligibility, covered services, required notice, and the correct ride contact for your plan or location.

North Carolina says Standard and Tailored Plan members call the number for their plan, while NC Medicaid Direct and EBCI Tribal Option beneficiaries call local DSS. Request routine rides at least two days ahead (four days for NC Medicaid Direct); hospital discharge and pharmacy urgent pickups may follow different timing.
