Rhode Island covered rides
The official state program is Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services. Contact the state or your health plan to confirm eligibility, covered services, required notice, and the correct ride contact for your plan or location.
Rhode Island Medicaid members who need transportation to a Medicaid-covered service and have no transportation can schedule through MTM at 1-855-330-9131, or use TTY 711. MTM accepts routine calls Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and asks for at least two business days’ notice. Members can request urgent same-day transportation 24 hours a day.
Route details: Use the MTM route when the member needs transportation to a Medicaid-covered service and has no transportation. The state page lists separate transportation programs for some older residents and RI Works recipients; follow the program that matches the member’s coverage.
